Brand
The Sino Learn brand, in one place.
Our logo, colour, type and voice - the ingredients that make Sino Learn feel like Sino Learn. Use them to represent us accurately, everywhere.
Logo
A chain, stepping up.
The mark is a ring linking up through two rounded squares - knowledge building on itself. Give it room, keep it monochrome, and let it breathe.
The mark alone
For favicons, app icons and tight spaces where the wordmark won't read.
Clear space
Keep clear space around the mark equal to at least the height of one square.
Minimum size
Never render the mark below 20px on screen or 8mm in print.
Don't
Don't recolour
Don't stretch
Don't add effects
Don't crowd it
Colour
Four accents. Endless restraint.
Black ink on white is the foundation. Blue, purple, yellow and pink appear as small pops - icon tiles, tints, a single gradient. Tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Tints & shades
Neutrals
A single grey ramp does most of the work - structure, borders and type. Body copy is near-black #0E0E10 on white; muted text uses grey-600 (the lightest grey that clears WCAG AA on white).
Typography
The system typeface, set with intent.
We use the platform's native system font - the same stack the mobile app renders in. It's fast, familiar and legible everywhere. Emphasis comes from weight, size and tight tracking, not decoration.
System UI stack
-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, "Noto Sans", sans-serif
Learn without limits
Every paper, every memo
Filed against CAPS
Past papers with memos, CAPS-aligned notes and Sino AI in one free app for South African learners in Grades 8 to 12.

Gradient & elements
One gradient moment.
The signature gradient runs blue → purple → pink. Use it once per page - a single word, one button, or the four-accent hairline. Everything else stays quiet.

Voice & tone
How Sino Learn sounds.
Four principles shape every word and pixel - from a push notification to this page.
Calm, not loud
White space does the heavy lifting. Black ink carries the message. The four accents are seasoning, never paint - one gradient moment per page, no more.
Precise and plain
We write the way a good teacher speaks: clear, direct, no jargon. South African English, CAPS vocabulary, and never a promise we can't keep.
Encouraging
The tone is a study partner at 11pm, not an exam invigilator. We celebrate effort and progress, and we never talk down to a learner.
Trustworthy with data
Most of our users are under 18. The brand should always feel safe, careful and free of anything that reads as a hard sell.
